About Us
Our company is called Inkassoregisteret but it is actually a portal, not a register. This is a question we get asked often. We only have information about private individuals who give us consent to information and their own debts. We comply of course all rules on privacy and delete all information after 6 months.
Since its inception, Inkassoregisteret has been financed by the company's four founders, in addition to funds from Innovation Norway. This has meant that the team has expanded. In the spring of 2022, the collection register got a customer centre, which now consists of 3 skilled part-time employees.
The company also has a fantastic IT team consisting of 5 experienced developers who work hard to maintain and further develop the service.
The debt collection register is a start-up company that in spring 2022 participated in Startup Norway's - Angel Challenge. There we came in contact with a handful of skilled angel investors who we got on board in the autumn of 2022.
The debt collection register is concerned with financial inclusion and has a goal that it should also apply to the owner side of the company.

We want to create the best possible service
We greatly value input from skilled professionals
In the development of the Debt Collection Register, we have received a lot of good input from skilled professionals. Both from NAV, the Consumer Council, the Governor in Oslo and Viken and many other skilled professionals. We are completely convinced that our service will be the best possible if we receive input from various parties, debt collection companies, private individuals, companies and debt advisors.
Our basic service is to give private individuals an overview of their own collection cases and debts from the Debt Register. Users can also share this information with a debt advisor from NAV. Going forward, we want to expand our service so that it also includes state and municipal debt. In the spring of 2023, we launched several new functions. We have created a budget and repayment function that will help both individuals and advisors to negotiate with creditors. This is to be able to solve and start paying off the debt.
We also launched an option for guardians to use Inkassoregisteret on behalf of their users. This is a much-requested feature that we hope can make it easier for them to get an updated and complete overview of unpaid claims.
We are optimistic about the future and have many plans for how we will further develop Inkassoregisteret.Among other things, we will open up to companies who want to find their unpaid bills. In addition, we dream of expanding to our neighboring countries.
Do you have thoughts on how we can further develop ? Feel free to send us an email.
